This
year, CAN DU volunteers will make an impact in Drexel's West Philadelphia
neighborhood by working with Fairmount Park Conservancy, cleaning up and
restoring the Parkside Evans playground and park area. Projects include trash
and debris clean-up, playground upgrades, painting, trail restoration, fall
planting, and more.
The
day will kick off with a volunteer breakfast at Drexel Pizza followed by
transportation to Parkside Evans playground. Refreshments will be available
on-site throughout the morning and volunteers will receive a complimentary
commemorative CAN DU T-shirt!

Parking: Complimentary
parking will be available for volunteers at Drexel University. Volunteers
should not drive directly to service site, as parking is extremely limited.
Drexel shuttle buses will transport volunteers to and from campus and the
service site.
Suggested Attire: Long
sleeves and pants, and sturdy shoes. It is recommended that volunteers wear
clothes and shoes that can get dirty or muddy. Gloves will be provided.
